Marketing and Communication Assistant

About the job

The role is office based with a lot of communication by phone, email and conference calls. Travel may be required. Flexible working patterns and some working from home. We have a

regular team meeting once a week for training, report and update. We work for private businesses, care homes, local authorities, social housing associations and the general public, to name a few.

  • Promoting products / services face to face with customers

  • Meeting sales targets through your ability to be professional and helpful

  • Conducting demonstrations and promotions with customers

  • Engaging with external stakeholders and customers to promote the Won Connect brand

  • Planning and coordinating business events

  • Liaising with Digital marketing and social media for content creation

  • Liaising with external marketing suppliers, such as graphic designers and press outlets

  • Reporting and analysing communications data

  • Updating the Board of Directors on marketing progress and future activities

  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and relevant news topics

  • General administrative duties as required by the business

Requirements

Minimum knowledge/skills to be

considered for the role.


The candidate must have:

  • good attention to detail,

  • analytical skills (data collection and analysis),

  • technology skills, 

  • strong verbal and written communication skills, 

  • problem-solving skills.

  • outgoing personality in order to feel confident meeting, promoting and selling to customers

They must be:

  • self-motivated, 

  • creative
