About the job

Secretarial duties

Work with the director to coordinate and supervise daily operations

Asst director with undertaking staffing responsibilities (hiring, training, evaluating etc.)

Fulfil duties as assigned by the director

Participating in strategic planning with the director

Administrative duties

Assist in developing and implementing plans and goals for the departments to reach their best

levels and general business administration

Monitor attainment of objectives and streamline/delegate duties where necessary

analyse and improve organisational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and

efficiency.

Assisting with organisational change initiatives such as developing and cultivating an effective

team culture

General duties

Maintain, update and ensure compliance with external/internal regulations and policies

including but not limited to GDPR, H&S, Disclosures, Equality, Disciplinary, insurance and

funding.

Keep updated on current funding opportunities and procedures, applying where/when it is of

benefit to the organisation

Assist in budgeting and monitoring expenses, keeping track of receipts, tickets etc Noticing

and working on any improvements

Maintain scheduling of events and represent the company when needed

Handling administrative functions within the department

Attending or leading department meetings to assess progress with projects

Maintain relationships with partner organisations and individuals

Requirements

The assistant team leader’s role is to provide executive support such as full administrative and

secretarial duties to the managing director, as well as ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

They act as a go between for the different departments and the director and also work on maintaining the

brand standard across all departments and projects, they also work with the director on enhancing

productivity and ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.The assistant team leader’s role is to provide executive support such as full administrative and
