pRESPECT is a new and dynamic social enterprise funded by the Scottish Government and The Hunter Foundation SIP (Social Innovation Partnership) fund. In the less than two years that the company has been in operation, pRESPECT and it's CEO, Viana Maya, have advised companies such as
Aegon Management (as part of the AAI Employability Diversity Works and inclusive recruitment programme),
The Scottish Government Young Women Lead Committee and
Glasgow Caledonian University.
pRESPECT can create bespoke learning and tailored training for Businesses and Organisations looking to develop their staff performance. By increasing confidence and inclusivity within the workforce, retention and innovation will increase.
Viana is a frequent speaker on panels such as the
Joseph Rowntree - The State of Poverty Report,
End Poverty (Edinburgh) working alongside Poverty Alliance,
Start-up Grind (identity and ideation) and
AAI programme informing businesses on how to respond to issues around Black Lives Matter and diversity and inclusion.
In 2018 Viana wrote and directed a short social play called 'I am Fine' which was performed at the RBS HQ in Edinburgh to 300 guests including MSPs, Company CEO's and other policy makers. This was performed by non-actors from Radiant & Brighter CIC, who all grew in confidence and many of them made life changing decisions as a result.
This is one way in which pRESPECT uses innovative ideas to empower people.
The team behind pRESPECT were also part of the team that produced the Snoovies Short film app which won Entertainment App of the Year 2019.
pRESPECT itself is the winner of the 2020 Bright Red Triangle Active Citizens Award.
We look forward to working with you.
